You Can Now Share iPhone 6s Live Photos on Facebook

When the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus were introduced in September, the audience was captivated by the new “Live Photos” feature. The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus will automatically capture the moments before and after you take a photo, using the series of pictures to create, in essence, a short but extraordinarily high-quality video.

Until recently, there weren’t many great options available to users who would like to share their Live Photos. Tumblr recently added support for the feature, but bigger news hit today, as the largest social media site in the world, Facebook, began rolling out Live Photo support.

Unfortunately, the ability to view Live Photos will be limited to users on the iOS 9 operating system, meaning those accessing Facebook on Android devices or desktops wouldn’t be able to take advantage of the feature.
